>> here in asbury park new jersey flooding is a major issue that people are waking up to. this is what we have been seeing from street to street. and this stop sign was knocked down and as people wake up they found that their home was full of water. sandy slammed into new jersey at 80 mi. per hour. the storm did major damage to the new york area. a number of new york subway systemer i stating that they hae never experienced anything like this before. they

burning out of control in queens, new york. 50 homes have already burned to the ground and two dozen are burning right now. there are nearly 200 firefighters on the scene try to get this fire under control. the flooding is making it difficult for them to get close to fight the fires. we have no word on whni back with more in a few minutes.

that i have is a view out of maryland and all of the flooding that is around here. there has been 17 deaths in the united states pouring in. this is some destruction from the storm surge coming in from the coast. we have 85 mi. per hour winds that are pushing all of this water onto the land. chiche but there were just pouring in here from the elevators and your other pitchers around new jersey and you look at the pier that is completely destroyed. the storm is also bringing snow and appellations. a levee just broken new jersey and three towns have off so mu water and officials rescue mode because people
